Residential Irrigation Technician

 

Duties:

  • Service and maintain irrigation systems on residential and commercial sites.
  • Maintain inventory of irrigation supplies and equipment.
  • Equipment maintenance.
  • Complete site paperwork and reporting.
  • On-site customer service.
  • Follow and enforce company policies.
  • Provide assistance with installation work as necessary.
  • Provide qualified recommendations and advice regarding watering and lawn care to customers.
  • Communicate with the office to coordinate customer scheduling.
  • Safe use and operation of company vehicles and equipment.
  • Attend weekly service meetings and safety meetings as required.

Qualifications:

Ability to

  • Problem solve irrigation related issues
  • Read blueprints
  • Perform strenuous work
  • Work without immediate supervision
  • Prepare accurate paperwork
  • Establish cooperative relations with others
  • Understand and perform oral or written instructions
  • Enjoy working outside in all kinds of weather

Training and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent training
  • Previous Irrigation and/or Landscaping Experience an asset
  • CIT (Certified Irrigation Technician)
  • Cross Connection Inspection Certified (Alberta)
  • Valid Alberta Class 5 drivers licence (MANDATORY)

Commercial Irrigation Technician

Are you hard working, enthusiastic, and looking for an awesome place to work?  Do you have Irrigation Experience and love being outdoors?  Are you results driven and outcome oriented?  This position requires someone with a high attention to detail and the ability to work independently.  If you have the experience and a great attitude, we need you on our ALL-STAR team of technicians!

General Duties of the Job:

  • Service and maintain irrigation systems on residential and commercial sites including emergency call-outs.
  • Maintain inventory of irrigation supplies and equipment.
  • Equipment maintenance.
  • Complete site paperwork and reporting.
  • On-site customer service.
  • Follow and enforce company policies.
  • Provide assistance with installation work as necessary.
  • Provide qualified recommendations and advice regarding watering and lawn care to customers.
  • Communicate with the office to coordinate customer scheduling.
  • Safe use and operation of company vehicles and equipment.
  • Attend weekly service meetings and safety meetings as required.
  • Year round employment available for those that are a right fit (snow removal and holiday lighting).

Successful Candidate should have the following ability to:

Irrigation Installer

 

Duties:

  • Install irrigation systems on residential and commercial sites.
  • Operate equipment in a safe manner.
  • On-site customer service.
  • Follow and enforce company policies.
  • Provide assistance with service work as necessary.
  • Attend weekly service meetings and safety meetings as required.

 

Qualifications:

Ability to

  • Read blueprints and site specifications
  • Follow Directions
  • Perform strenuous work
  • Work without immediate supervision
  • Work effectively with others
  • Complete on site paperwork
  • Understand and perform oral or written instructions
  • Enjoy working outside in all kinds of weather

Training and Experience

  • Irrigation and/or Landscaping experience
  • Reliable vehicle to get to job sites
  • Valid Alberta Class 5 drivers licence

 

Other Compensation Details:

  • $17-$22  hour (based on experience)

Landscape Maintenance Labourer/Herbicide Applicator

 

Duties:

Mowing and trimming lawns

Spring/Fall Clean-ups

Power Raking/Aerating Lawns

Operating small equipment (Lawn mower, line trimmer, backpack blower, aeration machine, de-thatching machine)

Shoveling snow, using backpack blowers, and using sweepers to clear snow (if interested in year round employment)

Applying fertilizer and herbicide to lawns and logging application records for each site.

Requirements:

High School Diploma

Alberta Pesticide Applicator Certificate OR experience as an Authorized Assistant

Previous Landscape Maintenance Experience

Physically capable of lifting, bending and repetitive tasks

Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions

Class 5 drivers licence (MANDATORY) Drivers Abstract will be requested for interview

Office Coordinator

Are you quick-thinking, flexible, self motivated, proactive, and able to handle many things going on around you at one time?  Are you creative and willing to learn new things as you go?  Are you goal and outcome oriented and enjoy setting and meeting targets?  This is a new position in our company and we are looking for the most amazing person to help keep out team organized and deliver a world class service experience to our community of customers!  This role requires someone that values organization and efficiency, someone that demonstrates initiative, has a positive attitude, and has a desire to help others succeed.

The Office Coordinator plays an important role in out ALL-STAR Team.  As a first point of contact for our customers, our office team coordinates their services for them.  They determine the “what, when, where, how, and who” for every request that comes into the company.  The Office Coordinator is responsible to make sure that all happens seamlessly.

The General Duties of the Job:

  • Overseeing general office operation.
  • Answering a high volume of incoming phone calls/emails and delivering amazing service to our customers.
  • Schedule service calls, quotes, and other customer requirements.
  • Supervision, mentoring, training, and coaching of office team and delegating assignments to ensure maximum productivity.
  • Purchasing office supplies and equipment and maintaining proper stock levels.
  • Customer account collection.
  • Daily input of customer and crew data
  • Preparation of miscellaneous paperwork and advertising materials
  • Weekly office clean-up and organization
  • Bank deposits
  • Assist various Managers and Departments with administrative tasks (reports, documentation, budget tracking).

Skills We Are Looking For:

  • Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Searching)
  • Ability to multitask and establish priorities.
  • High School Diploma or equivelent.
  • Office Administration experience.
  • Valid Alberta Class 5 Drivers License and reliable vehicle.
  • Customer Service experience.
